That one is harder to answer online, because the ranges you find are wide enough to be useless. One site says $500. Another says $4,000. Both are technically correct, because laser skin resurfacing is not a single treatment. It is a category that runs from a lunch-break glow session to a once-in-a-decade reset of sun-damaged skin. The price follows the depth.
So here are our real numbers, what sits behind each one, and how to figure out which tier you actually need.

Why the range is so wide
Almost all of the price difference comes down to one thing: how much skin you are asking to heal.
A gentle treatment removes or injures a very small fraction of the skin surface, and your body repairs it in a day or two. A deep treatment creates thousands of microscopic columns of controlled injury that reach well into the dermis, and your body spends a week or more rebuilding. The second one takes more laser time, more numbing, more careful settings, and more follow-up. It also does considerably more.
Three things drive the number on the invoice:
Depth
Surface-level pigment and dullness sit in the epidermis. Wrinkles, acne scars, and crepey texture live deeper. Reaching deeper costs more, both in device time and in your recovery.
Area treated
Full face prices differently than full face plus neck, décolleté, and hands. Sun damage rarely stops at the jawline in Florida, and most patients who treat the face eventually want the neck and chest to match.
One session or a series
This is the part people miss when they compare prices. A $650 treatment done four times costs more than a $1,500 treatment done once. Per-session price is not the same as the price of your result.
The $650 tier: BBL HEROic and MOXI
These two are where most patients start, and for a lot of skin they are also where most patients should stay.
BBL HEROic is broadband light. It goes after brown spots, redness, and general sun damage, and it can treat the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs. Downtime is little to none, which is why it fits so easily into a normal week. We build it as a customized series rather than a single visit.
MOXI is gentle fractional resurfacing. It works on tone, early sun damage, dullness, and texture, with roughly one to two days of downtime. MOXI does its best work in a series of three or more, which is the honest math to run before you compare it to a single deeper treatment.
If you are in your thirties, your skin is more dull than damaged, and you want to stay ahead of it, this tier is the right spend. If you have fifteen years of Florida sun and etched lines, this tier will help but it will not be the whole answer.
The $1,500 question: is Halo worth the jump
Halo is a hybrid fractional laser, which means it treats two depths in a single pass. One wavelength renews the surface, another reaches the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen. That combination is why it can address sun damage, fine lines, scarring, and texture at the same time instead of picking one.
It usually takes one session. Some plans call for a lighter series. Downtime is about a week, depending on how aggressively we treat.
Here is the comparison that matters. Three MOXI sessions at $650 lands close to $1,950, more than a single Halo. If your concerns are surface-level, that MOXI series is still the better fit, because you want gradual and gentle. If you have real texture change and pigment sitting deeper, a single Halo will usually get you further than the series will, for less money and one week of planned recovery instead of three shorter ones. TRIBRID at $2,550 combines Halo and MOXI in one full treatment. It is the most complete resurfacing we offer short of going ablative.
When we recommend going deeper
ProFractional is built for acne scars, texture, and fine lines. Light to medium runs $1,200, deep runs $2,250, and it is typically one session or a short series with three to seven days of downtime. For boxcar and rolling acne scars, we often pair it with subcision, and sometimes with a collagen stimulator, in a staged package.
Contour TRL is our fully ablative option, priced custom because it is tuned to depth. It handles deep wrinkles, established scarring, and significant sun damage. Often one session, with several days to a week or more of recovery. This is the treatment for skin that needs a reset, not a refresh.
Neither of these is a starting point. They are what we recommend when the concern is structural, and when a lighter treatment would mean spending real money on something that was never going to reach the problem.
What the price includes
Your session price covers the treatment itself, topical numbing where it is needed, the post-treatment products applied in the room, and your follow-up. What it does not automatically include is the at-home aftercare you will want during healing, or the sun protection habit that determines whether the result lasts.
That last part is not a sales line. Resurfacing removes sun damage. It does not make you immune to more of it. Patients who go back to a daily unprotected walk in Palm Harbor sunshine will be back in the chair sooner, and that changes the true cost of the treatment more than any price on the menu.
Ways to lower the cost without cutting corners
Our Laser membership is $300 a month and includes a BBL facial treatment every three months, a facial or neck Nano Laser Peel every three months, and 20% off Halo, Contour TRL, or ProFractional when one of those is indicated. For patients who want consistent maintenance rather than one dramatic treatment, it is the better economic path by a wide margin.
Package pricing is also available for staged plans, particularly for acne scarring, where the protocol is built around multiple sessions from the start. If cost is the main constraint, say so at your consultation. There is almost always a version of the plan that fits, and it is better to build it deliberately than to buy one session of something too gentle and hope.
Cheap laser is the expensive kind
The lowest price in the area is usually low for a reason. Older devices, generic settings, or someone who treats every skin type the same way. In laser, that is where burns and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation come from, and correcting those costs far more than the discount saved.
Florida skin, in particular, deserves a careful hand. We see a lot of mixed pigment and a lot of accumulated sun exposure, and settings that are perfectly safe on one patient are not safe on the next. Every plan here is set after an actual assessment of your skin, not from a menu.
Figuring out your number
