Why patients choose EXOMIND™

A next‑generation approach to neuromodulation using magnetic pulses to activate targeted brain circuits—without medication or surgery.

FDA‑cleared* for depression
Non‑invasive, drug‑free therapy with minimal downtime.
Fast appointments
Most sessions are < 30 minutes; walk in and walk out.
Targeted stimulation
Focuses on areas like the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) linked to mood regulation.
Comfort‑first design
Protocol typically includes 6 treatments (about 2 per week for 3 weeks).

How EXOMIND™ works

EXOMIND™ uses precisely controlled magnetic pulses to stimulate nerves in targeted brain regions. This supports neuroplasticity—your brain’s ability to form new, healthier connections—and can help normalize under‑active circuits associated with low mood and reduced focus.

1) Map & position

Our provider positions the applicator to align with individualized landmarks over the DLPFC and related networks.

2) Gentle magnetic pulses

During your session you’ll feel tapping sensations while the device delivers patterned magnetic pulses.

3) Walk‑in/walk‑out

Each visit is typically under 30 minutes with no post‑procedure downtime. Most patients return immediately to normal activities.

EXOMIND™ FAQs

Answers to the most common questions we hear in clinic. Evidence notes appear with asterisks below.

Is EXOMIND™ FDA‑cleared or FDA‑approved?

EXOMIND™ is FDA‑cleared* for treating major depressive disorder using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). “Cleared” means it was reviewed through the 510(k) pathway and found substantially equivalent to a legally marketed predicate device for the stated indication.

How many sessions do I need?

Most patients complete a 6‑session series over ~3 weeks (about two visits per week). Each session typically lasts under 30 minutes.*

What does EXOMIND™ feel like? Does it hurt?

You’ll feel rhythmic tapping where the applicator rests. Many describe it as unusual but comfortable. There’s no anesthesia and no downtime; you can return to normal activity immediately.*

Is there evidence that EXOMIND™ helps mood?

EXOMIND™ employs TMS, a well‑studied modality for depression. The EXOMIND™ platform is newer; early and ongoing clinical studies are investigating outcomes such as mood improvement, stress and sleep metrics, and self‑control/food cravings. We’ll review whether you’re a good candidate and set clear goals before treatment.*

Who is not a candidate?

People with metallic implants or devices near the head/neck, a history of seizures, or certain neurologic conditions may not be eligible. We’ll complete a safety screen and collaborate with your medical team as needed.

Can I continue therapy or medications?

Yes—EXOMIND™ can be used alongside psychotherapy and, when appropriate, medications. Any medication changes should be managed by your prescribing clinician.

How quickly might I notice changes?

Some patients report benefits within the first few sessions; others notice gradual improvement over weeks. Individual results vary.

*Regulatory & evidence notes: EXOMIND™ is FDA‑cleared via 510(k) for treatment of depression with TMS. Typical session parameters and 6‑visit protocols are described in manufacturer/provider materials; independent studies are ongoing. See full citations on our site or in your consultation materials.
