What Xeomin is
Xeomin is a botulinum toxin type A wrinkle relaxer, in the same family as Botox. Injected in small amounts, it softens the muscle movements that crease the skin into frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet, for a smoother, more rested look that still moves naturally.
Xeomin is made without accessory proteins, also called complexing proteins. Its formulation also contains human albumin and sucrose. If your response to a previous toxin has changed, your provider can assess the product, dose, treatment area and timing before recommending a plan.
