What to look for in before and after results

Compare the photography as well as the result
Look for similar lighting, camera angles, facial expressions, and distance from the camera. Notice whether makeup is present and whether the same part of the face or body is visible in both images. If an example uses a split-face view rather than two dated photos, ask your provider to explain what the comparison shows.
Ask about timing and the treatment plan
Check when the after photo was taken and how many treatments the patient received. An image taken immediately after a visit documents a different point in the process from a later follow-up. Ask whether the patient had one procedure or a combination, and which parts of that plan would apply to your goals.
