What it is

Three peptides, one daily injection.

The Glow Protocol combines three peptides in a single vial: GHK-Cu (the copper tripeptide), BPC-157, and TB-500 (a synthetic 7-amino-acid fragment of thymosin beta-4). It is used as a once-daily subcutaneous injection.

The thinking behind the combination is that the three peptides act on different but overlapping pathways: collagen and dermal matrix support from GHK-Cu, tissue and gut effects from BPC-157, and angiogenic and migration-related effects from TB-500. Patients who want both skin-quality work and broader tissue support sometimes prefer a single shot to running three separate protocols.

There is no published peer-reviewed literature on this exact three-peptide combination. The evidence for each individual component is what we have to work from. We’re honest about that with every patient who asks. The combination format is a clinical convenience, not a clinically validated formulation.

Dosing summary

DoseProvider-determined per individual protocol. Each component sits at the lower end of its individual range.
FrequencyOne subcutaneous injection daily
RouteSubcutaneous (abdomen)
Cycle lengthTypical cycle is 8 to 12 weeks, with breaks between courses

Daily dosing is the point of this protocol. One injection covers three peptides at once, which is why patients pick it over running three separate vials. The 8 to 12 week cycle gives the slower-moving effects (skin remodeling, hair density) time to show up.

Patients who are already using a topical GHK-Cu serum often continue that during the cycle, especially around microneedling and laser sessions. The topical and the injectable work different parts of the same problem.

Two things to flag honestly. There is no published study on this exact three-peptide combination. And TB-500 is on WADA’s prohibited substance list (S2). We don’t recommend this protocol for anyone subject to drug testing.

Most patients describe skin and recovery changes in weeks 4 to 8 of consistent use.

Who tends to pursue this

The patient who fits.

Most patients who pursue the Glow Protocol are already invested in their skin and want a single peptide layer that runs in the background. Some are also dealing with recurring soft-tissue issues, joint discomfort, or gut symptoms and prefer one injection over three.

We’re cautious in patients with active or recent cancer, copper sensitivity, pregnancy, and in any tested athlete. We discuss the evidence picture honestly before starting.

Considerations before starting

  • No published peer-reviewed literature exists on this exact 3-peptide combination
  • TB-500 is on WADA’s prohibited substance list (S2). Not appropriate for tested athletes.
  • Avoid in pregnancy, breastfeeding, copper sensitivity, and active or recent malignancy
  • Possible injection-site reactions and short-term flush in some users

What this is often used alongside.

The Glow Protocol runs alongside hands-on aesthetic work. This protocol is often used to supplement other services like SkinPen microneedling, RF microneedling, ProFractional, Contour TRL, and our broader laser series.

Glow Protocol are not FDA-approved drugs. The peptides used in this protocol are sourced from specialty peptide distributors that perform Certificate of Analysis (COA) testing on every lot to confirm identity, purity, and concentration, and that operate under the regulatory and quality standards applicable to their industry. They have not been evaluated by the FDA for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease, and we treat their use as investigational and as part of an individualized wellness plan.
