TRT in Clearwater, done right.
Physician-supervised testosterone replacement therapy. Comprehensive labs. Long-term monitoring. Real clinic — not telehealth. About ten minutes north of Clearwater on US-19.
Testosterone replacement therapy is one of the most over-prescribed and under-supervised medications in modern medicine. Online clinics will give you a prescription after a 5-minute video call. We do not work that way. Every TRT patient at our practice gets a comprehensive lab panel, an in-person consultation, and ongoing supervision from Dr. Oliver Morris — a board-certified osteopathic physician who runs a hormone optimization practice as part of his medical work.
We do not start anyone on TRT without first confirming low testosterone with two morning labs, ruling out reversible causes, and discussing the long-term considerations — fertility, cardiovascular, hematocrit, prostate. TRT done right requires a real clinic.
“Testosterone is a long-term medication. It deserves long-term supervision — not a checkout cart and a refill.”— Dr. Oliver Morris
The four most common reasons men come to us.
Low energy and fatigue
The most common presentation. Men describing a slow, gradual decline in energy, motivation, and morning vitality across their 30s and 40s.
Loss of muscle / strength
Difficulty maintaining strength despite consistent training. Often combined with increased body fat that does not respond to diet changes.
Mood, focus, libido
Lower drive, harder to focus, and changes in mood and sex drive. These often improve significantly once labs are optimized.
Confirmed low testosterone on labs
Two morning testosterone levels below 350 ng/dL with symptoms typically qualify for TRT. We confirm with full hormone panel before starting.
A three-visit start, then long-term follow.
Initial consultation + lab order
30-minute consultation with Dr. Oliver Morris. Review of symptoms, medical history, and goals. Comprehensive lab order including total and free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, LH, FSH, PSA, CBC, CMP, lipids.
Lab review (2 weeks later)
Full lab review. If TRT is appropriate, we discuss protocol options (injection, cream, pellet), dose, and monitoring schedule. Prescriptions are sent the same day.
First injection in office
We do your first injection in the clinic and teach you self-injection technique. We do not start patients on TRT without ensuring they understand the technique safely.
Quarterly follow-up + labs
Labs at 3 months, 6 months, then every 6 months long-term. We adjust dose, monitor hematocrit and estradiol, and screen for any adverse effects.

More questions we get asked
How does TRT work?
TRT replaces testosterone in men whose natural production has fallen below physiologic range, confirmed by morning labs. Most patients use weekly or twice-weekly injectable testosterone cypionate, with periodic monitoring of total and free testosterone, hematocrit, estradiol, and PSA.
What labs are needed before TRT?
Baseline labs include total and free testosterone (drawn AM), CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, estradiol, SHBG, PSA, and lipid panel. We do not start TRT without labs confirming low testosterone and ruling out conditions that would change the plan.
How fast does TRT work?
Energy and mood often improve within a few weeks. Libido and morning erections typically respond within four to six weeks. Muscle mass and body composition changes take three to six months.
Is TRT safe?
TRT is safe when prescribed for confirmed low testosterone and monitored properly. The most common things we watch are hematocrit (red cell count), estradiol balance, and prostate metrics. Self-prescribed or unmonitored TRT carries real risk.
How is TRT delivered?
Most patients use subcutaneous or intramuscular injections of testosterone cypionate, dosed weekly or twice weekly. Cream and pellet options can be discussed if injections are not a good fit.
