The Power of Three: Sciton TRIBRID (HALO + MOXI) Arrives in Palm Harbor

Sciton HALO Tribrid laser system used for advanced laser skin rejuvenation at Olympia Aesthetics and Wellness in Palm Harbor, Florida

The Power of Three: Sciton TRIBRID™ (HALO + MOXI) Arrives in Palm Harbor this January

The Evolution of Laser Resurfacing is Coming to Palm Harbor

At Olympia Aesthetics & Wellness, we have always believed in delivering treatments that offer complete results without compromise. That is why we are thrilled to announce that the Sciton TRIBRID™—the newest evolution in laser resurfacing—will be arriving at our practice in late January.

For years, patients had to choose: Do I want the deep dermal remodeling of the HALO™? Or do I want the surface polishing and tone correction of the MOXI™?

Starting later this month, you won’t have to choose. The Sciton TRIBRID™ combines the legendary power of HALO with the refining brilliance of MOXI into a single, comprehensive treatment. We are currently opening our books for January appointments for patients in Palm Harbor, Clearwater, and Dunedin who want to be the first to experience this triple-wavelength transformation.

What is Sciton TRIBRID™?

Sciton TRIBRID™ is an advanced laser resurfacing treatment that simultaneously delivers three distinct wavelengths—1470 nm, 2940 nm, and 1927 nm—into the skin. By combining the deep hybrid technology of HALO™ with the tonal correction of MOXI™, this platform treats every layer of the skin in one session.

This is not just “another laser.” It is a complete protocol that stacks technologies to treat what we call the “Three Dimensions of Skin Aging”:

  1. Texture (Roughness, pores, and scars)

  2. Tone (Pigmentation, sun spots, and redness)

  3. Tightness (Deep collagen depletion and laxity)

The Science: Why 3 Wavelengths Matter

1470 nm (Non-Ablative HALO)

  • The Target: Deep Dermis.

  • The Job: This wavelength bypasses the surface to heat the deeper layers of your skin. This “controlled damage” triggers a massive wound-healing response, stimulating your body to produce new collagen and elastin over the following months. This is the engine that drives long-term tightening and structural improvement.

2940 nm (Ablative HALO)

  • The Target: Epidermis (Surface).

  • The Job: This wavelength vaporizes tired, dull tissue on the very surface. It physically removes damage to reveal fresh, “virgin” skin underneath, giving you that immediate “HALO Glow” shortly after you heal.

1927 nm (The "MOXI" Wavelength)

  • The Target: The “Missing Middle.”

  • The Job: This is the game-changer. The 1927 nm wavelength (found in the MOXI laser) targets the superficial dermis where stubborn pigment and melasma often sit. It acts as a bridge between the deep heating and the surface polishing, ensuring that no layer of sun damage is left untreated.

The Result: By firing these three wavelengths in a customized sequence, we can clear years of sun damage, smooth deep wrinkles, and restore a porcelain-like finish to the skin—all in a single appointment.

Who Should Pre-Book This Treatment?

The Sciton TRIBRID™ is a versatile treatment, but it is best suited for patients looking for significant correction. You are an ideal candidate if you struggle with:

  • Complex Sun Damage: You have both deep wrinkles and surface sun spots.

  • Uneven Texture: You want to address pores and roughness while also brightening your tone.

  • Efficiency: You want the results of multiple different laser sessions but only want to go through the recovery process once.

Note: Because this is a medical laser treatment, a consultation with Olympia Morris, PA-C or our clinical team is required to ensure you are a safe candidate

Preparing for the Launch

he machine arrives in late January, and our waitlist is already forming. Because the TRIBRID™ is a more intensive treatment than a standard facial, planning is essential.

Recovery Expectations: While “social downtime” varies by patient, you should expect 5–7 days of peeling and redness as your skin undergoes this total transformation. This is a sign that the old tissue is being replaced by new, healthy cells.

How to Secure Your Spot: We are currently conducting pre-treatment consultations. During this visit, we will:

  1. Assess your skin type.

  2. Prescribe any necessary pre-treatment skincare to maximize your results.

  3. Book your slot for the January launch window.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between HALO and Sciton TRIBRID?

HALO uses two wavelengths (1470nm and 2940nm) to treat the surface and deep dermis. Sciton TRIBRID adds a third wavelength—the 1927nm Thulium laser (MOXI)—which specifically targets pigment and tone in the upper layers. This makes TRIBRID a more comprehensive solution for patients with pigmentation and sun damage.

Does Sciton TRIBRID hurt?

Most patients tolerate the treatment very well with the use of topical numbing cream. We also utilize integrated cooling technology to keep the skin comfortable during the laser application. You may feel a warm sensation for an hour or two post-treatment, similar to a sunburn.. For additional comfort, we also offer Pro-Nox (Nitrous Oxide) therapy during your session.

How many treatments will I need?

Because Sciton TRIBRID combines three powerful modalities, many patients see dramatic results after just one single treatment. However, depending on the severity of your sun damage or acne scarring, a second treatment may be recommended 6 to 12 months later.

Can I get Sciton TRIBRID if I have a tan?

No, you cannot undergo laser resurfacing on recently tanned or sunburned skin. We recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. This is why January and February are the perfect months to book this treatment in Florida.
