What is Sciton HALO?
HALO is a hybrid fractional laser. That means it does something most lasers cannot: it treats the skin at two depths in the same pass. One wavelength reaches the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen, while a second renews the surface for tone and clarity. The result is real resurfacing with downtime you can actually plan around.
Because both wavelengths are delivered together, HALO corrects texture and tone in one session instead of trading one for the other. It runs on the same Sciton platform as TRIBRID, so settings, depth and coverage are dialed in to your skin, not a preset.
Why hybrid fractional matters
Single-wavelength lasers force a choice: resurface the surface or remodel the deeper layers. HALO delivers both at once, so tone and texture improve together in one provider-guided session.
Reaches the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen and remodel texture, pores and early lines, with the skin's surface left largely intact.
Resurfaces the outer layer to clear sun damage, brighten tone and refine the look of pores. Paired with 1470 nm to correct at two depths in one pass.
What HALO treats best
Results can range from subtle refinement to noticeable resurfacing, depending on the plan you and Olympia build together. HALO is commonly used to treat:
- Sun damage & brown spotsCumulative UV damage, age spots and freckling. The ablative wavelength clears surface pigment while the deeper pass evens overall tone.
- Fine lines & early wrinklesEtched lines around the eyes and mouth and early forehead lines that respond to collagen remodeling.
- Acne & textural scarringDepressed acne scars and post-acne texture. Fractional channels remodel collagen precisely where scarring sits.
- Enlarged pores & rough textureVisible pore size and surface roughness that catches light unevenly in natural light.
- Dull, uneven toneLoss of clarity and glow from sun, hormones and time, restored as the surface renews.
- Crepey, aging skinEarly laxity and loss of firmness that responds to layered collagen stimulation.
HALO is most often performed on the face, neck, décolleté, chest and hands.
